Introduction

My name is Jeremy, I'm currently 20 years old. I've played RuneScape off and on for almost 9 years. I haven't been online for more than an hour at a time for the past year. Sometimes I'll log in, mess around some, and log out. It's not appealing anymore and I don't blame it on my age, I love RuneScape. The "Combat Evolution" update which is currently in beta as I write this, has made me lose all hope for the game I once loved so dearly.

They aren't thinking about the impact their updates are making on their players. They brought back free trade to essentially "herd the sheep". As soon as they brought back free trading, a ton of people came back. They saw that as an opportunity to implement the Squeal of Fortune, essentially selling in-game items. No matter how many people complained about it, they did nothing.

The combat update in my opinion, is over complicated. RuneScape has been known to be a fun, sit back and relax MMO for years. Let's compare it to World of Warcraft, RIFT, or some other well-known MMO. They're trying to keep up with their competitors but originality and uniqueness will be lost in the process.
